Bucklin is a lawyer, author, and business ethicist. Other attorneys have honored Bucklin by electing him a Fellow of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers , which recognizes the 500 top trial lawyers in the United States.  He is the author of a number of journal articles and texts. He was for five years, until 2008, the managing editor of the ethics section of eDicta, the former eZine published by the Tort, Trial & Insurance Practice Section of the American Bar Association. Bucklin is an ethicist providing ethics training, seminars, and advice to corporate executives.  He is the principle of Corporate-Ethics US™.

Over 30 years of effective presentation of evidence in court.  Bucklin is listed in Best's Directory of Recommended Insurance Attorneys because of verified service to over 30 insurers. Yet he also has acted for many plaintiffs, and is a member of the Million Dollar Round Table for plaintiff's counsel. Bucklin belongs to neither "side", but rather his opinions on handling litigation and on legal malpractice are sought for an objective opinion.
